Meat-on-a-Stick and Peanut Butter S'Mores

Tonight we went to Beth & JD's to hang out by the fire. JD had made us all skewers to use for cooking hot dogs and marshmallows around the fire. Well that got us talking about all the meats that we could cook on a stick and tonight was the night we did.


The jumbo prawns were a good start with garlic butter, they disappeared pretty quick


Kabobs were a hit as the main course and the best part was everyone made their own.


For dessert, the peanut butter s'mores.

Now there has been some controversy over how to prepare your marshmallows for s'mores, and we are pretty divided on this, golden brown or blackened. Each side has a compelling argument, but in my opinion, if I wanted charcoal why not just grab a handful out of the bag and put it between two graham crackers.
